Uzbek security services seize 344 kg of opium

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Security Service (NSS) of Uzbekistan seized 344 kg of opium in Surkhandarya region, southernmost region of Uzbekistan.

The officers of the NSS revealed 154.5 kg of opium in Sariasiya district’s Gulistan mahalla (neighborhood) and 190 kg of opium in Denau district.

The criminal cases were opened and investigations are underway.
