Uzbek scientists develop new soil processing technology
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Scientists of Samarkand Agricultural Institute developed a new method of soil processing, allowing to maintain fertility and withstand water and wind erosion.

In contrast with traditional - dump processing, soil plates are not shifted to the side, but turned around 180 degrees, and laid down in their own ribs. Field surface then is smooth, continuous, without ruined ribs and knocked down crests.

Complex of frontal plows, carrying out deep tiling without ribs, is also created by scientists on the basis of developed technology. Conducted research showed the perspectives of given direction of ground processing, allowing to decrease soil erosion, increase productivity, lower the number of crossings the field by the aggregates and power consumption, authors noted.

Additional measures on decreasing soil erosion are offered on the basis of developed technology. Elements of dump and not-dump filed processing, when a part of the field is processed with the turn, and other part without plate turn maintaining stubble, should be combined, scientists recommended. These processes are carried out in one crossing of the aggregate. The tool, designed for this work, consists of plow bodies and a device for turning soil plates and disintegrators.
