The talks with participation of the official delegations will mainly focus on issues of economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation, UzA reported.

The ties between Uzbekistan and Russia in the investment sphere have been developing steadily in the recent years.

A third of the 786 Uzbek-Russian enterprises working in Uzbekistan were set up in the past two years. The volume of Russian investments in these enterprises has exceeded US$ 1 billion.

Over 127 Russian companies have their representative offices in Uzbekistan. In Russia, 349 joint ventures created with Uzbek investments operate.
