The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov visited Hazrati Imam Complex in Tashkent on 5 June to look at the results of the construction and repair works carried out here, UzA reported.
Within the record-breaking four months large-scale work on reconstruction, repair and planting of trees was completed in this complex. Today, it is pleasing to look at the beautiful architecture of the Hazrati Imam Mosque, Barokhon Madrasah, the shrines of Muyi Muborak, the new building of the Religious Board of Muslims of Uzbekistan and other unique structures, which demonstrated the nation’s vast constructive potential.
Taking a tour round the complex, President Karimov noted that impressive buildings such as the buildings of the renewed complex could only be built on a holy land blessed by God, which again confirmed the deepness and strength of the nation’s spiritual roots.
Similar reconstruction projects being implemented throughout the country are the living pictures of today’s ideas and aspirations of the Uzbek state, Uzbek nation.
The head of the state gave a high mark to the work of builders and engineers, skillful craftsmen and all those who applied their best skills in this project; he thanked them on behalf of the whole nation. In conclusion President said: "Our souls and thoughts are clean, and we hope that our future will also be bright".
