Uzbek President shifts day-offs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On shifting of day-offs in connection with New Year” on 24 December 2012.

The document was adopted in cooperation with celebration of New year and in order to create favourable conditions for rest of population.

According to the resolution, day-offs – 29 December and 30 December 2012 – were shifted to 31 December 2012 and 2 January 2013 respectively.

President of Uzbekistan announced Saturday, 29 December 2012, and Sunday, 30 December 2012, as working days.
