Welcoming the guest, Uzbek President Islam Karimov underlined the positive results of cooperation with Lukoil, which actively participates in wide-scale projects in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, it was said that the agreements, signed on concrete objects on production of gas, gas condensate, oil deposits, are giving their fruits.

It was said that Uzbekistan is interested in use of potential of Lukoil for further deepening trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.

Vagit Alekperov expressed gratitude to the Uzbek President Islam Karimov for warm welcome and support of Lukoil in Uzbekistan.

The sides considered issues of implementing joint projects and perspectives of further cooperation, UzA reported.
