Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 April, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair, who is now the chairman of the Institute for Global Change.

During the talks, they discussed the prospects for practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the esteemed think tank led by Tony Blair.

The guest highly praised the progress achieved by Uzbekistan and the scale of reforms being carried out under the "New Uzbekistan" concept. Blair expressed readiness to provide comprehensive expert and advisory support to advance the country's reforms.

The parties also outlined key areas for further collaboration, including attracting major strategic investors to priority sectors, technological modernization of the economy, accelerating digitalization processes, implementing artificial intelligence-based solutions, and launching joint initiatives and projects.

It should be noted that the Institute for Global Change, founded by Tony Blair in 2016, is an international non-profit organization that supports various countries in developing new strategies for sustainable development and addressing urgent global challenges, including climate issues.
