Uzbek President Islam Karimov received Industry and Energy Minister of Russia Victor Khristenko at the presidential residence Oqsaroy, press-uz.info reported quoting press service of the Uzbek head on 10 May.

The report said the sides considered issues on economic cooperation of Uzbekistan and Russia, including in energy sector.

It added that President Islam Karimov expressed his satisfaction with developing relations between countries in trade-economic sphere and expressed hope for their further development.
