The press service said the Uzbek President will visit Russia on 19-20 April 2010.

It is expected that the sides will discussed issues of military, trade-economic, humanitarian cooperation and other issues.

Russia is the largest trade partner of Uzbekistan. According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, the share of Russia in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover was 21%.

Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia made up US$4.443 billion in 2009, of which US$2.257 fell to share of Uzbekistan’s exports (US$1.961 billion in 2008) and US$2.186 billion to imports (US$2.274 bn).
