Uzbek president decrees to appoint governors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed decrees to appoint governors of four regions and Tashkent city on 19 January 2010.
In line with the decrees, Erkinjon Turdimov was appointed as governor of Navoi region and Bakhodir Yusupov to Namangan region.
Hamidjon Nematov will head Ferghana region and Ollabergan Ollaberganov was appointed to Khorezm region.
Uzbek leader also decreed to appoint Abdukahhar Tuhtaev as governor of Tashkent city.
