I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, congratulate you, my dears, and in your person all our people on your worthy participation and achievement of high results at the 19th Summer Asian Games, held in the Chinese city of Hangjou.

Undoubtedly, your persistent struggle and enormous successes in the name of defending the honor of our native Uzbekistan immensely please all of us, the entire multinational people of our country.

Our compatriots watched with great interest and enthusiasm through the media and social networks each of your performances at this prestigious sports tournament, held every four years across our entire vast continent. The entire people of Uzbekistan supported you and asked the Almighty for success and victories!

High professionalism, unprecedented courage and perseverance, a strong desire for victory and unshakable will, demonstrated by members of our national team during these competitions with the participation of 11 thousand athletes from 45 Asian countries, brought our country 22 gold, 18 silver and 31 bronze medals, which is worthy every admiration.

I would like to note with particular satisfaction the fact that exactly half of the gold medals won by 31 athletes in our country were girls.

We are all pleased that 132 representatives of our country, having won a total of 71 medals, thereby showed a record result compared to the last Asian Games.

Our brave sons and daughters, leaving behind such countries with a developed sports sector as Chinese Taipei, Bahrain, North Korea, Hong Kong, Iran, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Kuwait, took an honorable fifth place in the team event after the People’s Republic of China, Japan, South Korea and India, which, without exaggeration, opened another bright page in the history of sports in Uzbekistan.

Without exception, all fans were once again delighted with the unique talent, skill and abilities of Bakhodir Jalolov, Jalgasbay Berdimuratov, Ulugbek Rashitov, Khasanboy Dusmatov, Abdumalik Halakov, Takhmina Ikromova, Diyora Keldiyorova, Sevinch Rakhimova, Vilana Savadyan, Evelina Atalyants, Sharifa Davronova, Safina Sadullayeva, Muzaffar Tur aboyeva , Olga Zabelinskaya, Shokhmurod Kholmurodov, Nurisloma Tukhtasin coals, Umida Esonova, Artyom Shturbabin, Khilola Ortikboeva, Mukhsina Khisomiddinova, Zainab Dayibekova, Pliegi Lara Maria Paola, Herrera Lara Louise Fernanda, Guliston Perdebaeva, Anna Prakaten, Shehroz Khakimova, Dilsho John Khudoiberdiev, Davirjon Davronov , Alisher Turdiev, Murodjon Yuldoshev and other athletes who worthily defended the honor of the country during the past intense competitions.

Zainab Dayibekova, who has become the pride of Uzbek fencing sports, demonstrated that in Asia she has no equal in the team saber, and Anvar Klevleev proved his superiority over most competitors in the rowing slalom competition.

At the same time, our young athletes have confirmed their unsurpassed status in kurash, judo, boxing, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, as well as leadership in taekwondo, cycling, weightlifting and football.

These successes achieved at the Asian Games are of great importance for us, because in this way you glorified the national sports school and showed the whole world what great achievements the youth of Uzbekistan are capable of.

In turn, I am convinced that you will reach great heights at the upcoming XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris in 2024!

Without a doubt, by raising the flag of our country high and taking high places, you once again demonstrated the practical results of large-scale reforms carried out in our country in order to educate a healthy and harmoniously developed, patriotic young generation - the creators of New Uzbekistan, the development of the field of physical culture and sports. All this fills our hearts with a sense of pride and serves as an example and model for millions of your peers.
