Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In a recent phone call, the President expressed admiration for the achievements of judoka Sherzod Namozov, who won a gold medal by securing victory in the final. This marks Sherzod’s second Paralympic championship.

The President also highlighted the outstanding performance of Khusniddin Norbekov, who became the first Uzbek athlete to win three gold medals at the Paralympic Games. Khusniddin claimed first place in the shot put event with a result of 16.82 meters.

During the conversation, the Head of State emphasized that he closely followed their determined performances with great anticipation and was pleased that they brought additional gold medals to their homeland.
