The players were awarded for their victory at World Cup 2010 in Argentina, displayed courage and selflessness, as well as contribution to strengthening authority and prestige of Uzbekistan at international competitions.

Uzbek leader conferred a Dostlik (Friendship) order to Rustam Kariyev, head coach of Uzbekistan national team, and Haidarali Tursunbayev, member of the team.

Other three players - Arapov, Umarali Rustamov and Kudrat Turakhujayev – were awarded with Jasorat (Courage) medals in line with the presidential decision.
