Uzbek President approved agreements between the Government of Uzbekistan and Government of China on encouragement and protection of investments.

The resolution also approved a protocol on introduction of changes to agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and Government of China on avoiding double taxation and preventing tax evasion from 3 July 1996.

These two international agreements were inked on 18 and 19 April in Beijing within the state visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to China.

President Islam Karimov entrusted the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs to notify Chinese side about implementation of inter-state procedures, necessary for entering into force of the agreements.
