In particular, Islam Karimov approved agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of China on cooperation in quarantine and protection of plants.

Uzbek President also approved agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of China on cooperation in protection of animals’ health.

According to the resolution of the Uzbek leader, these agreements were signed on 6 June 2012 in Beijing within the official visit of Islam Karimov to China.

President Islam Karimov entrusted Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify Chinese side that Uzbekistan carried out internal procedures, which are necessary to enforce these agreements.
