Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved an agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Belarus on the mutual use of electronic systems for certifying the origin of goods.
The agreement was signed on 8 February 2024, in Tashkent during the visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Uzbekistan.
According to the presidential decree, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, along with the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, have been designated as the competent authorities responsible for implementing the agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has been tasked with notifying the Belarusian side of the completion of domestic procedures required for the agreement's entry into force and providing information on the designated competent authorities responsible for its execution.
