MPs of Legislative Chamber and members of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, members of the Bukhara City Council, representatives of interested ministries and departments, law enforcement bodies participated at the event.

Participants noted that results of the SCO Summit of the heads of states, which was held in Beijing on 6-7 June 2012, were positively perceived by public and widely discussed. The summit discussed actual international and regional problems, perspectives of further development of the SCO. The summit determined approaches of the SCO on strengthening inter-governmental relations in conditions of forming fair and multipolar world, and discussed economic cooperation.

The SCO leaders approved new edition of the SCO regulation on adopting political-diplomatic measures in situations, which threat to peace, security and stability in the region, as well as programme on cooperation of the SCO member states against terrorism, extremism and separatism for 2013-2015. These documents expand legal base of cooperation of the member states in security area.

At the seminar, it was noted that during its existence SCO showed its viability and claimed its place in global political arena as authoritative organization, which can solve complex of actual regional issues. The participants noted that importance of cooperation of Uzbekistan with international organizations should be explained among population.
