The pace of implementation of the Uzbek-German investment projects, based on advanced industrial technologies, was discussed, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Udo Völker shared his impressions of participating the day before at the opening ceremony of the plant for the production of MAN trucks in Samarkand, which is expected to become one of the exemplary illustrations of successful collaboration of the Uzbek and German business circles.

The interest by several companies based in North Rhine-Westphalia in cooperation with Uzbek partners, as well as in favorable conditions and preferences for businesses at the Navoi Free industrial economic zone and the Angren Special economic zone was noted during the talks.

The parties exchanged views on prospective directions of mutually beneficial cooperation.
