During the meeting, the sides analyzed current state of bilateral trade-economic cooperation and perspectives of its development. The sides underlined positive trend of bilateral trade turnover and considered issues of supply of Uzbek cotton to Belarus.

The sides also noted necessity to hold next session of the joint inter-governmental commission on bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in 2011. The sides also corrected list of draft agreements, which are ready for signing.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belarus grow by 51.58% year-on-year to US$43.2 million in the first quarter of 2011.
