The system was created to simplify and improve work of museums and introduction of information and communication technologies to this sector.

The software was developed to register exhibits of the museums in Uzbekistan to form single national catalogue of the museum fund of the country.

SKM – MUZEY was created by the Center for certification and computerization of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan and consists of three software, two of them are installed at the museums.

The first software in installed at each museum and gathers data on museum exhibits, including image, scientific and technical description, insurance and other information.

SKM MUZEY BAZA is second software, which is installed at the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan. The ministry is authorized body to coordinate work of museums in Uzbekistan. SKM MUZEY BAZA is installed at protected servers and serve for creating single electronic database of museum funds.

SKM MUZEY GID is the third software, which will allow users familiarize with museum collections, included to the single database, virtually.
