Uzbek leader shifts day-off
Uzbek President Islam Karimov shifted day-off from 4 January 2009 to 2 January 2009.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov shifted day-off from 4 January 2009 to 2 January 2009.
The presidential resolution from 24 December said that the move was directed to create favorable conditions for population to rest and effective use of work time.
The resolution said 4 January will be working day.
