The Uzbek leader started his visit to the region with Mindonobod village, where 20 two-storey houses were constructed. President Islam Karimov familiarized with creation conditions at these houses and talked with house owners.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov later paid a visit to military unit and interested with military preparation and conditions, created for servicemen and their families, UzA reported.

The head of state underlined necessity to create all conditions for servicemen, who defends Motherland, and further improving their living standards.

Uzbek president Islam Karimov also familiarized with general plan of Ferghana city and underlined that it should be improved further. He said the plan should include national traditions and meet modern town-building requirements, landscape design, etc.

President Islam Karimov said special attention to construction of the city’s center should be paid and creation of gardens and avenues. He gave his recommendations.
