Uzbek head expressed his satisfaction with high level of dynamically developing relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea.

Islam Karimov said the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea is gradually developing based on strategic partnership principles.

Korea Jeung-Hyun Yoon expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek President Islam Karimov for warm welcome and underlined interest of South Korea to expand scale of mutual beneficial relations with Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on further expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea, UzA reported.

Korea is one of the largest partners of Uzbekistan. The volume of the mutual trade turnover between two countries reached US$1.2 billion in 2009.
