On 3 March, two passenger trains collided in Poland, in the result of which 16 people died and over 50 people were wounded. This is the largest railway accidence in the country since 1990.
The train, heading from Warsaw to Krakov, collided with another train, which was running from Przemyśl to Warsaw, near the town of Szczekociny. Four of eleven wagons of both trains were fully destroyed.
