Uzbek leader approves investment programme for 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution on approving Investment programme of the country for 2011 on 29 December 2010.

The document was adopted for gradual implementation of structural reforms and diversification of economy of the country through conducting investment policy, deepening modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production, fast developing transport and engineer-communication infrastructures, wide attracting foreign investments to these processes and mobilizing internal resources, creating new jobs.

The Uzbek leader approved Investment programme and forecast of introducing objects of social sphere for 2011. President Islam Karimov also approved the volume of centralized capital investments for 2011 due to resources of the State Budget, Fund for land-reclamation of irrigated lands, off0budget National Road Fund, programme of reconstruction, capital repair and equipment of educational establishments. He also approved target programme of investment projects for 2011, implemented with attraction of foreign loans under guarantee of the Government of Uzbekistan.

President Islam Karimov approved programme of large investment projects on creating new, modernizing and reconstructing of existing production capacities for 2011, target programme of investment projects, implemented with attraction of resources of Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan for 2011, target programme of investment projects for 2011, implemented with attraction of foreign direct investments and loans.

The Uzbek head also approved target programme of investment projects for 2011, realized with attraction of direct investments and loans at the territory of Navoi free industrial-economic zone and target programme of larger investment projects for 2011, implemented due to own resources of enterprises.
