The resolution approved an agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kuwait on establishment of joint committee on cooperation, an agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kuwait on cooperation in tourism and an agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kuwait on healthcare.

The document also endorsed a memorandum between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kuwait on cooperation in oil and gas sector and a memorandum between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kuwait on environment protection and preservation of natural resources for sustainable development.

All these documents were signed 21 July 2008 in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, during the visit of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber As-Sabah.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan was entrusted to send a corresponding note to the Kuwaiti side to inform them that Uzbekistan carried out all internal procedures to ensure that these documents came into force.
