President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a corresponding resolution on 20 August 2010.

Islam Karimov entrusted Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan to direct notification to Kazakh side on implementation of all internal procedures to ensure entrance into force of the international agreement.

The agreement was inked on 17 March 2010 within the visit of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev to Uzbekistan.

In line with the agreement, the side will carried out measures on protection, reproduction and sustainable development of saiga heads in their territories in line with national legislation.

The sides will agree their decisions with each other on organization of monitoring of saiga population and introduce necessary measures on protection, reproduction and sustainable development of saiga.
