Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The first judo Grand Slam tournament of the new season will take place in early February in Paris. The event will feature over 250 athletes from nearly 50 countries, including the team from Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan Judo Federation announced that the country will be represented by Bahrom Boturov (-60 kg), Shakhram Akhadov (-73 kg), and Utkirbek Turaboev (+100 kg).

During the Grand Slam tournament, the best judokas of 2024 will also be announced. Uzbekistan has been nominated in five categories by the International Judo Federation (IJF).
