Uzbek judokas claim eight medals in World Cup in Almaty

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Athletes from Uzbekistan won eight medals at the stage of the Judo World Cup in Almaty (Kazakhstan), which was held at the end of last week.

Utkir Qurbanov won only gold medal of Uzbekistan in the tournament in the weight category up to 100 kg.

Ramziddin Sayidov (100 kg), Abdullo Tangrive (over 100 kg), Rima Bergigulova (52 kg) and Khurshid Nabiev (90 kg) claimed silver medals.

Gabit Esimbetov (60 kg), Navruz Jurakabulov (73 kg) and Dilshod Choriev (90 kg) won bronze medals of the World Cup.
