Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held talks with the Executive Director of Qatar National Cement Company Essa Kaldari.

Issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed, and prospects for implementing joint projects for the production of building materials were considered. Based on the results of a study conducted in the regions of our country, company representatives highly assessed the potential of the industry.

The parties agreed on further joint measures in order to develop cooperation and promptly begin work on all discussed projects.

Qatar National Cement was founded in 1965. It covers 100% of Qatar’s cement needs. Annual production capacity is 8 million tons. Annual income of the company is US$1 billion (2022), number of employees - 2 thousand people.
