National company “Uzbektourism”, Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan and Federation of Tourist Organizations of India were main organizers of the event. Representatives of tourism firms from both countries have participated in it.

It was noticed at the seminar, that relations between Uzbekistan and India in the field of tourism is consistently developing. Participants have discussed prospects of developing the interaction of tour operators of two countries.

Uzbekistan possesses large potential in the field of tourism. Tourists are very interested in visiting the unique historical monuments ancient in cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, which also have the mild climate.

In recent years, the tourism infrastructure has been consistently improved. New tourist routes were developed, modern hotels and new roads were built, existing roads were reconstructed.
