According to the Ministry, the session of the Board of the Ministry considered an issue of ensuring quality of rendered mobile communication services.
It was noted that the State Inspection on supervision in communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies of Uzbekistan studied the quality of services, provided by mobile communication operators of Uzbekistan – COSCOM (Ucell brand), Uzbektelecom (Uzmobile), RWC (Perfectum) and UNITEL (Beeline).
According to the study, these mobile operators are violating requirements of the law “On telecommunications”, including paragraph 3 of the article 22, and did not ensure quality of services in line with the set standards, norms and rules.
Based on the study of complaints from mobile subscribers, the Board issued the order to COSCOM, Uzbektelecom, RWC and UNITEL with the demand to develop action plans on improving quality of mobile communication services in line with the requirements of the legislation.
