Uzbek government reorganizes three universities in regions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three universities in Uzbekistan will be reorganized in line with the decision of the government of Uzbekistan.

The Government of Uzbekistan signed three resolutions on 25 July 2011 on reorganization of three higher educational establishments.

In particular, Andijan engineering-economic institute was reorganized into Andijan machine-building institute.

In line with the resolution, the institute will train specialists for machine-building, including automobile and electrotechnical sectors, energy industries, enterprises and organizations of industry and civil designing and construction.

Bukhara technologic institute of food and light industry was renamed into Bukhara engineering-technical institute of high technologies.

Institute will train specialists for oil and gas, textile and lights industries on such directions as technologic equipment, machine and equipment for oil and gas industry, oil and gas processing technologies, automatization and management of technologic processes and production, radio electronic equipment and systems.

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Namangan engineering-economic institute was reorganized into Namangan engineering-technologic institute.

Main task of the institute is to train specialists for textile, light and polygraph industries on such directions as technological machines and equipment, chemical technologies and automated technological processes.
