Uzbek girl receives award of Czech contest
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Art Exhibition of Lidice is dedicated to the memory of children, who were killed by German Nazis in 1942 in the Czech village of Lidice.

Children at the age between four and 16 from all of the world participate at the exhibition, which is famous worldwide. This year, the organizers changed the theme of the exhibition.

Last year the theme of the exhibition was “Tradition and heritage of my country”. Gallery in Lidice received 24,593 works from 68 countries, including Uzbekistan. The jury of the contest decided to award Kseniya Nebogina from Tashkent as one of the best works of the exhibition.

On 19 September, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Uzbekistan Hynek Pejcha handed over a certificate, catalogue, gift and invitation to participate in the next exhibition titled “Family farming or our garden and field”.

The organizers of the exhibition in the Czech Republic are receiving all paintings and other creative work till the end of 2014. The contest is open for children at the age of up to 16 years.
