Ministry of Foreign Economic Relation, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan organized the business forum, participants of which discuss further developing trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.

The special attention was paid to developing of cooperation at the Navoi Free Industrial and Economic Zone.

Representatives of ministries and departments, companies and concerns, organizations, businesses of Uzbekistan and Germany attended the event.

At the forum, the sides discussed perspectives of cooperation in various spheres of economy at the cooperation exchange.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relation, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan SHavkat Tulyaganov said it is necessary fully use existing potential of the Uzbek-Geman cooperation.

He said the bilateral trade turnover between two countries made up US$469.4 million in 2009, which does not meet potential of Uzbekistan and Germany.
