Welcoming the delegation to Azerbaijan Minister Elmar Mammadyarov noted with satisfaction the high level bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The Minister also noted the importance of intensifying business-to-business ties and undertaking joint projects with a view to expanding bilateral economic ties. He also pointed out that increasing investments and bilateral trade volume would further contribute to the enhancement of bilateral relations.

Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiyev said he was pleased with his visit to Azerbaijan and as well as the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

He also underlined Azerbaijan's high economic growth and expressed his country's interest to expand economic ties with Azerbaijan.
