Uzbek Foreign Minister Attends Preparatory Meeting of OIC and Arab League Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in the preparatory meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, held ahead of the joint extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States (LAS).

Participants discussed pressing regional and global challenges, emerging threats to international security, and emphasized the need to strengthen dialogue and negotiation mechanisms.

Bakhtiyor Saidov highlighted the importance of Qatar’s efforts to promote lasting peace and stability in the region.

“We highly value Qatar’s consistent and dedicated work in the interests of sustainable peace and prosperity through diplomacy. Uzbekistan has always stood for resolving disputes exclusively through dialogue and remains firmly committed to this principle,” the minister stated.
