Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official visit to Tbilisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili.

According to the head of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic service, the meeting focused on a comprehensive discussion of current issues in bilateral economic cooperation. In a statement published on his official Telegram channel, Bakhtiyor Saidov noted:

“Together with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ms. Mariam Kvrivishvili, we had a substantive exchange of views on matters of economic partnership between our two countries. In recent years, Uzbekistan and Georgia have made significant progress in this area.

It is clear that both sides are interested in further intensifying cooperation — strengthening ties between business communities, promoting national products, boosting bilateral trade and investment activity, developing industrial cooperation, and improving transport logistics.”

The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding practical collaboration and expressed readiness to implement joint projects aimed at reinforcing sustainable economic ties between Uzbekistan and Georgia.
