Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 30 January 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Uzbekistan Alan Hamson.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him fruitful work and success.

“We value his experience and wealth of knowledge about our region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to support the ambassador in his desire to contribute to the realization of the huge untapped potential in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Canada,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
