Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 March, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting in Tashkent with the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Nurlan Yermekbayev.

Since its inception, the SCO has established itself as a key platform for constructive and pragmatic cooperation.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for further collaboration within the organization, regional security issues, and the expansion of economic and cultural ties among member states.

"Uzbekistan remains committed to strengthening multilateral cooperation and seeks to contribute to the stable development and prosperity of the entire region," Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized.
