Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Chairman of SK Group and the head of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Chey Tae-won.

The parties discussed issues of further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. The agenda of the dialogue included issues of further strengthening bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to enriching economic diplomacy with tangible results.

“We had a productive meeting with the Chairman of SK Group and the head of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Chey Tae-won. We discussed the prospects for intensifying bilateral cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, energy and innovation. We agreed to further strengthen our partnership and explore untapped opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation,” noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
