Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Malaysian Foreign Minister Haji Mohamad bin Hasan on  27 February. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that despite the significant distance between Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur, the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Malaysia can and should constantly find new points of contact and contribute to the expansion of political, interparliamentary, economic, cultural and humanitarian dialogue.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan also met with Mr. Mark Yeo, Executive Director of YTL Corporation BHD.

The parties discussed issues of implementing infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan.

Bakhtiyor Saidov invited representatives of the YTL Corporation to take part in upcoming business events in Uzbekistan, including the third Tashkent International Investment Forum.
