The Ministry of Finance said that the inspections and revisions were conducted in line with approved work plant on order of law enforcement bodies.

In 2,828 cases, the inspectors revealed embezzlement, shortages and illegal use of resources for total sum of over 12.593 billion soums.

According to the results of audits and inspections, some 7.212 billion soums or 57.3 percent of the total revealed financial irregularities were returned to the budget and 811 cases with 10.439 billion soums of financial violations were transferred to the law enforcement agencies to adopt necessary measures in line with the legislation.
