Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 April 2021, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Timur Ishmetov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the Republic of Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum.

At the meeting, Daniel Rosenblum was informed about the latest reforms and long-term plans for the development of the capital market in Uzbekistan in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-6207 “On measures for the further development of the capital market”.

It was emphasized that the development of the capital market provides the economy with long-term financial resources and is an essential element of macroeconomic policy aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth.

The meeting also agreed on the main directions of the US government's technical assistance for the development of the capital market.
