Nigora Suvonova (-87 kg) lifted 101 kg in the snatch and won gold, and in the clean and jerk she showed a result of 128 kg, which provided her with a silver award. Also, based on the results of the double event (229 kg), Suvonova added another silver medal.
Another representative of Uzbekistan, Tursuna Jabborova (+87 kg), managed to set a figure of 116 kg in the snatch exercise and won a bronze medal. Unfortunately, in the clean and jerk and combined events, Jabborova could not enter the list of winners.
