Uzbek exhibits presented at Louvre Museum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Exhibits, related to epoch of Amir Temur and Temur dynasty, have been presented at new Department of Islam Art at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, Jahon news agency reported.

The report said that Louvre Museum hosted an opening ceremony of Department of Islam Art, which was visited by record number of visitors in a week.

About 3,000 exhibits, created at three continents in history of Muslim civilization, were presented at the Department, which took about 3,000 square meters.

The exhibition presented works from Spain, India, Central Asian states, etc. The department presented exhibits, related to Amir Temur and Temur dynasty, as well as Babur dynasty.

Masterpieces from Samarkand also attracted attention of the visitors. The report said that many exhibits were demonstrated for the first time.
