Kazakh leader congratulated the envoy with start of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and wished success in his tenure, directed at development wide-scale mutual beneficial cooperation between two states.

Nursultan Nazarbaev said that Uzbekistan is good neighbor, strategic partner and reliable ally of Kazakhstan.

Kazakh leader said that official visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Kazakhstan this year was very fruitful. He said that the sides achieved important agreements on bilateral cooperation and coordinated positions on global and regional issues. Signed documents within the visit of the Uzbek leader will give new impulse for the Kazakh-Uzbek strategic partnership, he added.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan Alisher Salahiddinov said that the Uzbek-Kazakh relations have good neighborhood and strategic character.

Alisher Salahiddinov said that bilateral relations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are in new high level of development. He said that Uzbekistan is interested in further strengthening of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, President of Kazakhstan wished interesting and fruitful work in Astana to envoy and expressed his assurance that he will do his best to develop mutual beneficial partnership between two states.
