During the meeting, the sides considered current affairs and perspectives of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China in politics, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Chinese leader underlined that China highly rates success of stable and gradual development of cooperation between two states.

Positive results in security, trade and cooperation in energy were underlined at the meeting. The Chinese President stated that promotion of the Uzbek-Chinese cooperation helps to solve social-economic growth of two states.

Hu Jintao said that high level of mutual understanding and trust serve as pledge for further development of fruitful development of partnership relations and cooperation.

Chinese President said that close cooperation with the UN, SCO and other international organizations help to ensure security and stability of two countries, as well as Central Asian region as a whole.
