During the session, the participants familiarized with perspectives of bilateral cooperation in various sectors of economy, investment potential of Uzbekistan and opportunities of investment cooperation, including within the Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

Special attention was paid to perspectives of cooperation in small and medium business, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. The Dutch side familiarized with investment potential of electrotechnical, food, oil and gas industries of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that Uzbekistan and the Netherlands set favourable trade regime and the trade turnover between states made up US$99.7 million in 201.

There are 36 enterprises, created with the Dutch investments, in Uzbekistan, including 19 enterprises with 100% Dutch investments. Ten Dutch companies and firms are accredited at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan.
