Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov held a meeting with representatives of the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) headed by Managing Director for Central Asia Zhuzhana Hargitai.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Bobur Khojaev, Director of the PPP Development Department Abdukodir Yakubov and bu guests side, head of EBRD office in Uzbekistan Andi Aranitasi, EBRD senior policy advisor Jonathan Aves, leading regional economist Eric Livny and other responsible representatives.

During the conversation, they discussed the results of joint projects and further plans, in particular, transformation and privatization of state-owned enterprises and state-owned banks, cooperation within the international initiative Global Methane Pledge, green transformation, SME development strategy, public-private partnership projects, capital market development.

Also at the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the reforms carried out in our country in the socio-economic sphere, including the use of water resources and the development of the energy sector.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to further expand and strengthen cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
